Anyway, looking inside the default domain policy GPO I get this: Seems as though the best practice would be to create a new GPO for this. The only reference I have left and the problem GPO I believe is the default domain policy which would explain why I see this on the server every 5 minutes and on all clients.įirst, don't ask me why someone would use the default GPO to install software. I've removed all references to software installation in GP by searching on the server. I see the errors on the server about every 5 minutes and it's every few hours on the clients. I get this error on every computer joined to the domain. Additional information may have been logged. The system cannot find the path specified. The installation of software deployed through Group Policy for this user has been delayed. Event ID: 108 Source: Application Management Group Policy Message: Failed to apply changes to software installation settings. I gave up on this but I am back at it again. Message: Failed to apply changes to software installation settings. I know it's been 10 months or so but I've still go the the errors showing in the server log same as before.
